Op 10-1-1669 nemen Jannis Beerents X Hendrikje Boldewijn een hypotheek waarbij ook de erfgenamen van Vroutje Jans, wed.(?) van Harm Reijnders en Coop Jans en Reijn Jans zijn betrokken (Inventaris 16 Gerechtelijk archief Steenwijk). Onderpand is hun h
alve huis in Scheerwolde.
Jannes Beerents wordt op 28-12-1669 genoemd als erfgenaam van Vroutje (?)Jans (Inventaris 16 gerechtelijk archief Steenwijk). Zijn schoonzuster.

Jan Hollander en Dirk Boldewijn zijn voogd over de vier kinderen ( Femmigje, Beerentien, Beerent en Geesje) van Jannis Beerents en Hendrikje Boldewijn. Als Jan Hollander in 1702 is overleden worden als voogd benoemd Marten Willems als 'zwager' van Ja
n Hollander en Volken Gerrits als' zwager' van Jannis Berents. ' Zwager' hier kennelijk opgevat als schoonzoon!. Er vallen dan nog twee kinderen ( Beerentien en Beerent) onder de voogdij omdat Femmigje inmiddels is getrouwd met Volken Gerrits en Geesje is overleden. Voogdijregister 90 Steenwijkerwold.
In het gerechtelijk archief Oldemarkt wordt op 7-5-1708 een achtste dagmaat Pierix land in de Vrijstate genoemd dat afkomstig is van Jannes Berents Seelte dat dan in eigendom is van Jan Klasen Dul ( Inv.Nr.
