Jacobus betaalde aan de markschap Noord-Apeldoorn in 1710 f. 48. De Stinkmolen was eigendom van zijn schoonvader Gerrit Hessels Leemhorst. Hij werkte vanaf 1710 op de "Stinkmolen III", die hij van 1747 tot 1749 pacht.
