Lucas Jansz. Coppert en Jan Cornelissen van Horen gezworenen De Lier.
Zij ondertekenen: Jan Corneliszoon van der Valck en Lucas Jansz. Coppert.
NB: Hieruit blijkt dat Jan Cornelisz van Horen dezelfde is als Jan Cornelisz van der Valck. Horen is hier waarschijnlijk gebruikt als toponiem. Het huidige Den Hoorn werd rond 1100 gesticht onder de naam Dijkshoorn, als onderdeel van de Hof van Delft, een graftelijk bezit. In 1246 kreeg [het Hof van ]Delft stadsrechten en groeide het uit tot het huidige Delft. Dijkshoorn en alle andere gebieden rondom Hof van Delft werden vanaf toen bekend als het ambacht Hof van Delft. In 1817 werd dit ambacht een gemeente, maar in 1921 werd het al weer opgeheven. Gedeelten van die opgeheven gemeente, waaronder Den Hoorn, ‘t Woudt en Abtswoude, kwamen toen bij de toenmalige gemeente Schipluiden.
In het testament uit 1650 van Cornelis Jansz van der Valck (zie hieronder), die een zoon was van Jan Cornelisz van der Valck, blijkt dat ook de naam Dijcxhoren werd gebruikt (en wel als familienaam van Cornelis Willemsz Dijcxhoren) zoon van de broer van Jan Cornelisz van Horen/van der Valck.
DTB De Lier, Nr. 1-2, ondertrouw d.d. 23 aug 1654:
Jan Cornelisse van der Valck, woonende in de Lier, wedn. van Maritgen Cornelisdr, en Leentje Claes, woonende te Overschie, wed. van Jan van Dijck, gewesen schoutsbaillu inde Lier. Attestatie gelicht om tot Overschie te trouwen.
