Cornelis de Regt pachtte de hofstede van de broers Johannes Heronimus baron de Doff en Willem Jacob Frederik baron deDoff, kolonel en adjudant-generaal van de prins van Oranje.
Op 15-2-1736 werd op de boerderij koopdag gehouden, waarbij zoon Pieter de Regt een groot deel van de inventaris kocht.
Cornelis de Regt kocht op 17-4-1728 een huis met erf te Zaamslag.
Bewoner van het huis was Maatje Nols.
Op 29-4-1743 werd dit huis door de erfgenamen van Cornelis de Regt verkocht aan Arij Laport.
Als erfgenamen worden genoemd: Hermanus de Regt, Arij de Regt en Pieter de Regt (gehuwd met Tanneke Goossen). Nietgenoemd wordt Cornelis de Regt, ook een zoon van Cornelis de Regt en Feijgje van der Waal.
Wellicht had hij zijn erfdeel al eerder opgenomen.
