Adriaen Cornelisz. Aen den Wech met zijn broeders en zusters werden in het
Barendrechtse kohier der 1000e penning over 1626 aangeslagen voor maar liefst 17 pond, waarmee zij de op een na rijkstelokale familie waren.
In 1626 en 1627 deed Ghemen Antonissen als "swager" van de vier onmondige
weeskinderen van (zijn schoonouders) Coornelis Ariensen en Maritgen Pietersdr. rekening aan de weeskamer teOost-Barendrecht. Leendert Ariensen Smitshoeck was 's kinderen oom en bestorven bloedvoogd van vaderszijde en PieterWillemse Besemer was hun bloedvoogd van moederszijde (OV juni 2000 nr.516).
