Jacob Willem Hendrik Christiaan van Staveren was een Nederlandse glasschilder die woonde in Gouda; eerst op het adres Raam 14a en later in de Prins Hendrikstraat 316. Hij werd geboren op 10 aug. 1876 als zoon van de Goudse decoratieschilder Hermanus Catharinus van Staveren. In zijn advertenties noemde hij zijn bedrijf het 'Grootste Atelier van Tooverlantaarnplaten'. Hij schilderde o.a. de Gelijkenis van de Goede Herder en een Nederlandse versie van Curfew shall not ring tonight (De Avondklok). Zijn lantaarnplaten zijn gewoonlijk van een driehoekig etiket met zijn naam en adres voorzien in de linker benedenhoek van de platen.
