Heeft van beschuldigingen tegen medegevangene Teengs Gerritsen gezegd dat hij daarvan de dader was en zo Teengs Gerritsen (gehuwd en vader van kinderen) het leven gered. Is op 20 juli 1943 op de Leusderheide gefusilleerd. Kreeg in 1982 postuum het Verzetsherdenkingskruis.
