De molen op de Oosterhof werd in 1871 gekocht door J.R. Kemper en verpacht aan Marten van Delden. Hij was de, in oktober 1844 geboren, zoon van Evert van Delden, papiermaker op de Tiemensmolen in Wormingen, en Hendrika van Delden. Hij vestigde in de molen een papiermakerij, die vanaf 1875 door stoomkracht werd gedreven. Na het overlijden van Kemper verwierf van Delden de molen in eigendom en begon toen –omstreeks 1896- naast zijn papiermakerij, ook een wasserij. Dit gecombineerde bedrijf werd door zijn zoon Evert voortgezet als E. van Delden Mzn. ’Papierfabricage en Wasserij’ aan de Deventerweg 102. De wasserij, nog steeds in het bezit van de familie van Delden, bestaat nog steeds.
