Notes about Jochem Schaddenberg (later: Scherrenberg)

Vanaf 01-05-1772 is Jochem samen met een Jan Roes voor 220 gld. pachter van / papiermaker op de Oosterlijke Brinkermolen in Vaassen. Jochem vertrekt in 1778 naar de Keijertsmolen (papiermolen) in Apeldoorn. Twee jaar later vertrekt ook Jan Roes. In oktober 1783 stierven er 2 kinderen van Jochem, de knecht Jan Berends en de meid Geriitje Lamberts; alle 4 aan de "rode loop". In 1798 wordt de 55 -jarige Jochem meesterpapiermaker genoemd. Er werd schrijfpapier en best papier gemaakt op de Keijertsmolen. Mogelijk heeft dochter Klazina Alberts, met schoonzoon Derk Koldewijn, rond hun huwelijk in 1807 ook nog even op de deze molen gewoond en gewerkt, want in 1807, het jaar waarin zij trouwen, worden twee doodgeboren kinderen aangegegeven op 'Keizersmolen". In 1815 wordt kleinzoon Jochem ook nog als papiermaker op de Keijertsmolen vemeld. Zijn zoon Wouter, die niet getrouwd was, neemt het van zijn vader over samen met zijn broer Derk. Later is ook kleinzoon Jochem Koldewijn nog papiermaker op de Kayertsmolen.
