Zij is door hem of een van zijn familieleden zwanger geraakt. De Van Everdingens hebben toen de klompenmaker van het dorp, Jan van OOI, tegen betaling bereid gevonden met de zwangere Aaltje van LITH te trouwen en het kind op deze wijze te wettigen.

In haar jeugd moest Aaltje van OOI jaarlijks haar opwachting doen in het kasteeltje bij de familie van Everdingen Na de dood van haar ouders kwam Aaltje in Utrecht op kamers bij de familie de GANS Familie van de Van Everdingens) , waar ook regelmatig een notaris van Everdingen logeerde e.d.
