    Johann Wilhelm Toennesen, TageLohner, geboren zu Kleinedocteren bei Geldern, starb hier zu Essen, im Kloster der barmherzigen Schwestern, 30 Jahre alt, infolge einer Verletzung, am 4e Februar 1871 = am vierten Februar des Jahres ein tausend acht hundert ein und siebenzig = 9 Uhr morgens, ward beerdigt am 7e Februar desselben Jahres und hinterliess als Wittwe seine Ehefrau nebst Zwei Kindern.
    Dat met Johann Wilhelm Toennesen inderdaad Jan Willem Teunissen bedoeld is, blijkt uit de huwelijksbijlagen van dochter Frederika Johanna Antonia; daar staat nog een opmerking bij:
    Der Name Jan Willem Teunissen, steht in der Rubrik "Bemerkungen" des Totenregisters als spätere Berichtigung des Johann Wilhelm Toenesen.
    Die Richtigkeit dieses Auszuges aus den Totenregister des Kirchenbuches der evangelischen Gemeinde
