He was born 26 jan 1868 in Grand Haven. He is survived by his sons Edward and Leonard from Detroit, Gerrit of Saginaw, Mrs Arthur Anderson, Mrs Frank Streng, and Mrs Ben de Jonge all of Grand Haven, 1 brother Chris of Muskegon and 1 sister Mrs William Taylor of Muskegon
