Anna maria persi is geboren in 1701 te Thionville Frankrijk ( in het Duits Diedenhofen).
Deze stad ligt ongeveer 30 km. ten Noorden van Metz.Thionville is één van de vele steden die door toedoen van Lodewijk XIV aan de Habsburgers ontnomen werd.
Bij de vrede van Aken(1668) werd de stad bij Frankrijk gevoegd. In die roerige tijden zullen er zeker bezettingstroepen gelegen hebben.
Mogelijk is Anna maria Persi van militaire (i.c. Engelse of Schotse) afkomst. Haar geslachtsnaam is hopeloos verbasterd, doch de meest oorspronkelijk vorm lijkt wel Percy te zijn.
De naam Persy of Percy komt veel in Frankrijk voor.Ze is overleden: 21-01-1794 te 's-Hertogenbosch en begraven op 23-01-1794
Het is goed mogelijk dat haar man Pierre Joseph Terruagne ( geboren 06-10-1700 te Huy/Hoei België, overleden: 18-05-1784 te 's-Hertogenbosch begraven: 21-05-1784) als jong militair gelegerd is geweest in Thionville en op die manier uiteindelijk in Den Bosch is terecht gekomen.
