Er wird 1580 Komtur der Kommende Ramersdorf und schließlich am 30. Juni 1591 Komtur in Siersdorf. Im Jahre 1607 erbaut er in Siersdorf den "Großen Hof“. Er stirbt am 8. Dezember 1623 und wird in der Bonner Münsterkirche begraben.
