- Johannes GELTSLICHTER woonde 'te Utrecht op de Nieuwegragt onder de Linden nabij 't zogenaamde St. Servaashek' en was een zoon van Paulus GELTSLICHTER.
- Bij zijn overlijden heeft hij vijf kinderen nagelaten: Paulus, Johannes, Christina, Pieter en Adriana, waarvan de eerste drie nog in leven zijn.
- Zoon Pieter is enkele jaren geleden overleden en heeft een dochter Petronella nagelaten. Zij was gehuwd met Matthias Jacobus LOUISE, apotheker te Utrecht en is 'voor eenige jaren komen te overlijden'. Zij had twee kinderen: Gijsberta en Elizabet LOUISE, beiden nog minderjarig, in leven, ongehuwd en in Utrecht woonachtig.
- Dochter Adriana was gehuwd met Andries DOUWE. Van hun kinderen zijn thans nog in leven Christina en Clazina, beiden wonende te Utrecht en Hermannus DOUWE, die zich 'in Holland heeft nedergezet'.
