De boerderij waar Trientje Freerks Cleveringa en Harm Derks Knol woonden, ligt tussen de weg naar Zandeweer en het Helwerder Maar.Voordien hadden de ouders van Harm Derks Knol er gewoond. (R.A. LIV.bl).
Het is waarschijnlijk een oude provincie kloosterplaats geweest. Hetlandbezit was toen 113 gras, met een beklemming van f. 396 aan vastehuur. In 1795 staat deze boerderij verzekerd ten name van TrijntjeFreerks Cleveringa en Luie Simons Lanting voor f. 2000.-. Na hetoverlijden van dit echtpaar wordt de boerderij, groot 59 bunder, inzijn geheel verkocht aan Julle Klaassens Venhuizen voor f. 18100.-. Hetvoorgedeelte van deze boerenplaats werd in 1942 door bommen getroffen entotaal verwoest.
