Mevrouw Hensen
ik weet van mijn moeder dat wij af zouden stammen van een Engelse koning en een Indische? zwarte vrouw.
Ik veronderstel dat zij ergens uit West Indie of Tasmanie is meegenomen naar Nederland.
Zij had volgens mijn moeder twee kinderen.
Nu lijken mijn voorouders meer op negers dan op indonesiers
(Zie foto op internet van Dirk Ocker kunstschilder,broer van mijn oma die nog donkerder was.)
Als ik naar het uiterlijk kijk op de fotos van mijn familie (die terug gaan tot 1868) zie je dat die ook gekleurd zijn en niet blank.
Hierbij een foto van het huis van mijn bedovergrootouders Franciscus Smith
getrouwd met Jannetje Heij in Bussum anno 1875. De donkere vrouw op de foto is mijn overgrootmoeder Catharina Cornelia Sigismunde Smith
Ook heb ik de foto's mijn voorouders Smith-Heij, Overgrootmoeder, Oma, broers, zusters, allemaal bruin, zeer uitheemse types, maar puissant rijk.
