    TOWN OF ALTO NATIVE DIES AT 86; FUNERAL SERVICE ANNOUNCED

    Mrs. Bert Kastein, 86, a resident of Waupun, died Wednesday night at the Waupun Christian Home, Waupun.

    The former Anna Hartgerink was born Feb. 16, 1880, in the Town of Alto, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hartgerink. She was married to Mr. Kastein Sept. 22, 1904. She resided in the Town of Alto until 1920, when she moved to Waupun. She was a member of the First Reformed Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

    Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Aaron Schouten, Waupun, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, one grandson, four brothers and two sisters.

    Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the Beyers Funeral Home, Waupun. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, Rev. Frederic Dolfin officiating. Burial will be in Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun.
