    Mrs. Alfred Hartgerink, 80, 0f 520 Grace St., Waupun, died today at her home.

    She was born Jan. 14, 1894, in the town of Waupun, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schouten. The former Jessie Schouten was married May 1, 1929, at Alto.

    The couple farmed in the Alto area until retirement in 1950, when they moved to the city of Waupun. Mrs. Hartgerink was a member of Alto Reformed Church and the Ladies Guild.

    Her only immediate survivor is her widower. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Alto Reformed Church with the Rev. Richard Bouwkamp officiating. Burial will be in Alto Cemetery.

    Friends of Mrs. Hartgerink may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and at the church from noon Friday until the time of services.
