    Theresa Hartgerink, age 94, of Holland, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Appledorn Living Center.

    Theresa was born in Holland and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and a former member of Bethel Reformed Church. While at Bethel Reformed Church, she was active in teaching Sunday school, leading Bible studies, and doing book reviews.

    Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1988 and sisters, Alyda Houtman and Jeanette Blok.

    Surviving are her sons, Doug and Carol Hartgerink of Holland, Randy and JoAnn Hartgerink of Grand Rapids, and Jim and Dee Hartgerink of Holland; grandchildren, Dr. Todd and Beckie Hartgerink (Makalah and Colin), Dr. Philip and Katie Hartgerink (Abby, John, and Matt), Tom and Kim Hartgerink (Nicholas), Anne Hartgerink, and Cheryl and Paul Eshenaur (Matt and Adam); sister-in-law, Angie Hartgerink of Lincoln, NE; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

    Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Reformed Church, 712 Apple Ave., with the Revs Lynn Post and Chris DeGraaf officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visiting will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street. Memorials may be made to Trinity Reformed Church Library Fund or The Bible League.
