Notes about Cornelis Bas

Het echtpaar Bas/de Jonge woonde in op de boerderij Oosterweg 5.
Cornelis nam de leiding van het bedrijf op zich. In 1933 had hij op 16 ha weiland zijn 71 schapen, 32 enterlingen en twee rammen, maar ook het tbc-vrije rundvee.
In 1935 gebruikte hij 2½ ha als bouwland. Hij beschikte over 27 3/4 ha weiland, waarop 130 schapen en twaalf melkkoeien liepen. In 1941 bezat Cornelis Bas 125 schapen. Hij werd in 1942 eigenaar. Cornelis Bas liet in 1948 de boerderij verbouwen. Jan van der Pijl (Oudelande 1903-BG 1988) had de tekening gemaakt.
