Geachte Collega!
In antwoord op UEd schrijven van 31 Dec: a.p. betrekkelijk het verdwijnen van C. Buisman, heb ik de eer te berigten:
Dat Buisman, op vrijdag den 16 December, des avonds ten half 11 het huis van Berkums alhier, heeft verlaten,- dat hij aan Berkums voorn, heeft te kennen gegeven, dat hij, aan te Helder nog aan te komen, zich moest haasten, dat hij een pakje in een doek bij zich had, dat zij (de vrouw van Berkums) niet kan zeggen of hij schaatsen by zich had, zij heeft geene gezien, en echter, zegt zij, is het mogelijk.
Nog heb ik vernoomen dat juist op dien dag, voor het eerst, de Stoomboot naar den Helder, niet heeft gevaren.-
