Cornelis Barendsz Rijk wordt in een notariële akte van 1798 (notaris Star, inv.nr. 4911, 26-8-1798) genoemd als bootsman van het verongelukte Pruisische brikschip St. George, kapitein Dirk Mulder, bestemming Port a Port.

B296A (kad 134) Huis en erf Kneppelbuurt/Warmoesstraat
Aan het begin van de 17e eeuw was dit huis belast met een halve blank (3/8 stuiver) mijtgeld. Het was meer dan een eeuw eigendom van een en dezelfde familie, hetgeen tamelijk uitzondelijk is. Het werd waarschijnlijk rond 1805 gesloopt.maar het kreeg in 1800 al geen huisnummer.
1783 - Cornelis Barends Rijk kocht het huis voor f 330,-. Hoewel zijn weduwe Meis Coenraads Staal in 1805 nog als eigeneres van het aangrenzende perceel werd vermeld, kreeg het huis in 1800 geen huisnummer. Zo er toen nog een huis op het erf stond, dan was het waarschijnlijk in vergaande staat van verval. Het erf wed later bij dat van B296 (kad 134). Wegens achterstallige verponding werd het huis afkomstig van de weduwe van Cornels Barends Rijk in 1805 verkocht. Het erf ging naar de buurman Willem Vlaming.
