Bovenstaande aankopen zouden kunnen gebeuren om de oudste zoon Johan Geert aan een boerderij te helpen.

Johan Geert woont ten tijde van zijn huwelijk in Veerste Veldhuis. Maria Adelheid Menke in TerApelkanaal. Na zijn huwelijk is Johan Geert landbouwer te Maten.
Anno 2000 staat er een boerderij met de naam Veerste Veldhuis nabij Sellingen. Of dat deze boerderij is is niet bekend.
