En van de buren die aangifte deden van het overlijden van het meisje Schoenmakers (1) op 22-11-1862, was Albert Zondervan, 43 jaar, arbeider te Rundeveen. Wel was het gezin Zondervan al op 30-3-1860 van Smilde naar deze gemeente gekomen, maar ze hebben toen eerst in Vastenow (Nw.Dordrecht) gewoond.
Waarom hij zich lange tijd Zondervan heeft genoemd is onbekend. Hij was Albert Lubbers (of Lubberts), geboren in Smilde op 22-7-1818. Hij trouwde op 27-3-1850 in de gem. Ooststellingwerf met Janke Doornbos, geboren 21-5-1818 in Wijnjeterp, gem. Opsterland.
Hun oudste kinderen werden in Ooststellingwerf geboren, daarna hebben ze in Smilde gewoond. In Vastenow werd hun zoon Harm geboren. De oudste zoon werd ingeschreven als Lubbers, de volgende drie als Zondervan. Door de rechtbank werd later die namen veranderd in Lubbers, alleen Markus behield de naam Zondervan.
Janke Doornbos overleed hier op 16-7-1867. Lubbers (er staat dan bij ook genaamd Zondervan) hertrouwde op 2-7-1868 in Emmen met Annechien Postema, geboren 29-5-1831 in de gem. Leek. Uit dit huwelijk werden twee dochters geboren.
Albert Lubbers stierf op 18-4-1876. Annechien Postema hertrouwde op 13-6-1878 met Harm Meijering (15, pagina 35). Zij overleed op 29-3-1904 in Munsterscheveld.
In de volksmond stond deze familie nog heel lang als Zondervan bekend. Drie zonen werkten later in Duitsland en werden daar Katholiek. De oudste van hen, Egbert Alberts, heeft hier gewoond. De tweede, Ludserd Alberts, was scheper in Brok (Wesuwe), toen hij daar ongehuwd overleed. Men schreef daar van Hermann Caspar Lbbers. Markus was hier na 1886 niet meer te volgen. De zoon Harm was pachtboer in Versen D.

They got married on July 2, 1868 at Emmen, he was 49 years old.
