Reintje woonde te Gorssel aan het Smitskamp op nr 11 in 1984 en te Gorssel (overlijden) in 1984
Reintje huwde met Hinke Kies in 1925 en woonde eerst afgelegen op een boerderij, wat ze niet wilde en zo terug ging naar Oldenzaal en via haar man, die als tuinman werkte, in de bloemenverkoop terecht kwam. Haar man Hinke had Parkinson en tot aan zijn dood heeft zij en haar dochter Hermien voor hem thuis gezorgd. Ondertussen kwam ze alleen te staan, en ging ze verder met de bloemenwinkel, die verhuisde naar de Papverhof. Daar heeft ze 18 jaar gewoond. Hermien zorgde voor haar een huisje aan de Smitkamp, dichtbij haar dochter. In 1984 werd ze blind en tot haar dood is ze verzorgd door Hermien en haar man.

Ze kreeg twee dochters en een levenloos kind. Stien was door nierfalen gehandicapt en leefde altijd bij haar, en de laatste 9 jaar bij haar zus Hermien.
