Alida verklaart dat haar zoon Steven in 1711 uit Oostindië is thuisgekomen en hoorde dat zijn vrouw meer dan twee jaar geleden was overleden. Alida was sindsdien belast met de zorg voor haar kleinzoon. Haar zoon is weer als simpel soldaat naar Oostindiën gekeerd. Alida kan haar kleinzoon nauwelijks onderhouden en verzoekt het armhuijs haar van de zorg te ontlasten.

Zoon van Steven (Stephanus) Madeacker en Aletta de Joode. Vader Stepanus werd op 31 juli 1682 burger van Dordrecht. Hij was reparateur en vervolgens opzichter van het schroef- en pletwerk aan de Hollandse Munt te Dordrecht (1681-1710). Noemt zich in zijn verzoek aan de Staten van Holland van 1688 ‘inventeur van het jegenwoordige pletwerck’, dat hij ook geïnstalleerd heeft in de Geoctroyeerde Munt van Holland [van Dirk Bosch] te Enkhuizen.
