Woonde te Schraard.
Omdat hij de oudste was, erfde hij Aylvastate te Witmarsum niet, daar in de middeleeuwen de jongste het stamgoed erfde.
In 1515 wordt zijn huis door de Geldersen in brand gestoken, hijzelf is dan al zes jaar dood.

Historie van Vrieslant, door Peter van Thabor:

..met de meente Schraard een verbond met Groningen, trekt met anderen uit Westergo 27 april 1500 op ter belegering van Franeker, waar Hertog Hendrik van Saksen de regering voor zijn vader waarneemt, doch breekt in de nacht van 15 juli op en keert huiswaarts; zijn broer Epe tekent voor hem 1504 de reversaalbrief; edelman in Wonseradeel 1505. Verdronken te Schraard in de watervloed bij een poging vee te redden. "Een godsvruchtig, wijs, cloeck, sachtmoedig en welsprekend man".

Hij woonde in 1496 met zijn vrouw op Wibrandastate te Schraard, welk huis zij van haar grootvader Agge Walte erfde.
Pax-168 d.d.8-7-1496:hij gaat namens Schraard akkoord met het verbond tussen Westergo en Groningen.
Hij was als aanvoerder betrokken bij de opstand tegen de hertog van Saksen in 1500.
Op 5-1-1505 met zijn broer Epe op de lijst van Friese edelen (T342-05,62).
