In Ledematen Herv. gem. te (De) Breede staat: "Anno 1751 Den 24 October Ben ik Joannes Pesman in den Heiligen Dienst op d' Brede als Leeraar bevestigt; de Bevestigers waren D. A. Piccart Pred. te Warffum, D. L. Van der Tuijk Pred. te Usquert en D. P. Somberg Pred: te StitsWerd, D. P. Somberg predikte Uit âExod.28.40,41. Den Zonen Aarons zult gij ook rokken maken etc. Waarop ik naa een half uir tusschen tijt, mijne Gemeente anvaarde,doende mijn Intree-Reede uit Ps. 51 :14,15 Geeft mij Weder de Vreugde uwer heils etc.". In Ledematen Hervormde gemeente in Tinallinge staat: "Johannes Pesman door den Hoog Eedele Welgeboorne Heer Unico Allart Alberda Heer. Conradus Meijer Embda Frisio Orientalis. Beroepen uit Simonswold in Oostvriesland 1757 den 28 febr. na de Brede, door den Hoog Welgeboornen Heer U.A. Alberda Heere van Menkema, en onderhorige Dorpen, als Unicus Collator so van de Brede als Tinallingen etc. etc. En den 30 Dec. 1767 beroepen door denselven na Tinallingen. Alwaar bevestigd den 29 Maij 1768.".
