Mr. CORNELIS DEUTZ VAN ASSENDELFT, Vrljheer van Assendelft en Assumburg, Heer van Heemskerk, Hoogdorp, Nootdorp, Reewijk, Rietschoten, Rietwijkeroord, Wijk aan Duin en Wijk op Zee.
Raad 1757 — 1770 ; hij werd 1 November 1770 op zijn verzoek als Raad in de Vroedschap ontslagen .
Comm. 1753 .
Kerkmeester. W. K. 1748; Meesterknaap van de Houtvesterij van Brederode 1755.
Hij kocht 10 Juli 1780 voor ƒ 9200 van de erven van Susanna Jacoba van Harencarspel de heerlijkheid Wijk aan Duin en Wijk op Zee.
Woonde eerst op den Singel, over 't Westindische Huis, en na 1761 op de Keizersgracht, Zuidz., bij den Amstel. Hij was eigenaar van 't Huis Assumburg, onder Heemskerk. Hij was zeer rijk en erfde van zijne tante
Klisabeth Jacoba Bors van Waveren in 1771 nog een vermogen van ƒ 1.098.800 .
Geboren 22 Febr. 1730, st. op 't Huis Assumburg 17 Maart 178S, zoon van Jean (zie bij N°. 252) en van Cornelia Maria Bors van Waveren.
Tr. 12 October 1756 Maria Deutz, geboren 30 November 1733 , begraven N . K . 4 October 1784, dr. van Andries Adolph (zie bij N°. 252) en van Cornelia Abigael van Collen.
