d'Heer Willem van Drenkwaard, Heeren Bouwensz, Heere van Gijssenburg; Borgemeester 1537. 1538. 1543. 1544. 1546. 1547. 1549. 1550. 1553. 1554. in Dordrecht;

Willem van Drenckwaert, oudste zoon van Boudewijn, was heer van Giessenburg en half Puttershoek. Hij volgde hierin zijn oom Johan op, in 1555. In de jaren 1537-38, 1543-44, 1546-47, 1549-50, 1553-54, was hij burgemeester van Dordrecht. Als schepen vindt men hem 1517-18, 1522-23, 1526-27, 1530-31, 1533-34. Hij overleed tijdens zijn burgemeesterschap in 1554. Ook bekleedde hij den post van raad en rentmeester van Zuid-Holland. Hij was gehuwd met Cornelia van Steenhuysen Wouwericksdr. overleden 1538.
