Jantje Vissenberg kocht in 1890, de steenfabriek van fam van de Berkel.
Janus van LOON was steenrijder sinds 1907.
Na 1918 dus Jantje Vissenberg was al overleden, begonnen zoon Rinus VISSENBERG,
ZWAGER Tiestje Biemans en Kobke (Jacobus) van LOON met een nieuwe ringoven.
Rinus en Tiestje hadden deze ringoven in twee jaar zelf gebouwd
Maar Kobke was zo onhandig en eigenwijs dat de oven instortte, en bedrijf ging bijna failliet daardoor.
De oven werd opnieuw gebouwd maar nu door vaklui. En in 1924 werd Joan Seelen er directeur, hij liet een vakman, Jantje Vermeulen komen en het bedrijf kwam snel tot bloei.in korte tijd 150 man personeel, een tractor, en vier steenwagens met paarden en voerlui.
In 1932 vertrok Jantje Vermeulen en het bedrijf ging van lieverlee achteruit, en in 1935 failliet.
Over dit laatste punt kom ik nog terug.
