Uit de passagaierslijst van de Willem Ruys blijkt dat HPD van Moorselaar op 19 februari 1952 vanuit Tandjong Priok naar Rotterdam is gevaren waar hij op 11 maart 1952 aan is gekomen

Henk is op 10 juni 1945 in Deventer verloofd met Margje Zand Scholten, geb 4/2/1926 te Deventer. De relatie heeft maar kort geduurd en is gedurende de Tweede Wereldoorlog ontstaan toen Henk in Deventer op de Tropische Landbouwschool studeerde en daar Margje heeft leren kennen.


Henk is in augustus 1947 in Ketabang ( Java Nederlands Indie) getrouwd met Emelie Maria Circkens. Voor die tijd moet de relatie dus al beeindigd zijn
