Notes about Jan Willem Bosman


woont van 12 november 1915 tot 11 april 1919 in de Aert van Nesstraat 22 in Rotterdam als banketbakker. In de periode 1917-1919 was hij in militaire dienst


daarna even in Brummen en vervolgens naar Zwolle op 27 juli 1919


 


 De bakkerlijk van Jan Willem Bosman was gelegen aan de Hogestraat 16 in Dieren die het in 1924 van zijn oom Willen Bosman had gekocht


Vóór Willem Bosman was het pand ( kavel 174 bij het kadaster) genummerd als nr 62 op de Kerkstraat. Vermoedelijk in 1803 is daar een bakkerij gesticht door de familie Bitter ( Steven Bitter 1783-1823) na Steven hebben er nog 2 generaties Bitter in het pand gewoond. Gerrit Jan Bitter ( 1850-1935) heeft het pand in 1890 verbouwd en was Brood- koek- en banketbakker.


Op 11 juli 1902 kocht Willem Bosman het huis, tuin en erf voor 9000 gulden van Gerrit Jan Bitter bij notaris van Senden. Hij begon in 1903 zijn patisserie en was tevens Cuisinier


in 1924 verkocht Willem Bosman het pand aan zijn neef Jan Willem Bosman . De zaken liepen goed en in 1932 werd een grote verbouwing uitgevoerd waarbij de voorgevel geheel werd  gemoderniseerd. Het bedrijf kreeg de naam Huize Bosman.


In 1956 heeft Jan Willem , noodgedwongen vanwege zijn gezondheid, een opvolger  moeten zoeken. Dat werd de banketbakker Jacques Struik uit Hilversum. Zij verkochten uiteindelijk in 1990  het pand nadat ze al eerder gestopt waren met de bakkerij en winkel vawege teruglopen clandisie.


De nieuwe eigenaren werden Dorus van der Reep ( biologische bakker) en  zijn vrouw ( zangpedagoge) Lida Dekkers die tot 2019 6 verschillende soorten zuurdesembrood maakten
