Bij de loting van de Nationale Militie van het jaar1886 krijgt hij nummer 15 en wordt hij als enige wettige zoon vrijgesteldvan dienst.(Zie de scan)
In een advertentie 31-10-1898 wordt als adres hoek "Kerkstraat genoemd"
Bij de Geboorte van zijn dochter Beredina Arnolda in 1901 woont Stefenus volgens de akte in de Kerkstraat.

Beroep: Bakker, Kruidenier.
Op 15-06-1907 zet Stefenus de winkel, bakkerij te koop.
09-11-1907 Staat er een advertentie in het "Nieuwsblad van Friesland" dat er op 18 November 'avonds om 8 uur ten huize van S. de Bock aan de Markt bij palmslag een publieke verkoping is van de panden: hoek "Groote Kerkstraat en Woldstraat" en een woon winkelhuis staande aan "de Vrouwenstraat".
04-07-1908 een artikeltje in de "Opregte Steenwijker courant" dat Stefenus zijn "Bekkerij en Koffiehuis" op de hoek van de Kerkstraat heeft overgedragen aan den heer "A. Roodbergen"
06-05-1911 De zaak aan de "Markt" is verbouwd (zie de scan)
11-02-1919 Koopt hij een woonhuis met schuur en erf aan de Vrouwenstraat

19-01-1923 Een artikeltje in de krant dat Stefenus zijn pols heeft gebroken bij het aan slingeren van zijn auto
1926 komen er regelmatig advertenties S de Bock en Zonen aan de Markt
