Die adminstratiewe afbakening van die grense hier ‘n ingewikkelde kwessie. Pieter was vir sekere doeleindes gesetel in Zuienkerke en vir ander in die entiteite langsaan. Vertè et al argumenteer egter oortuigend dat die Pieter van Zuienkerke die pa van Jan Swaenepoel, pa van die stamvader was, waarvan een faktor is dat beide meulenaars was. Sulke ambagte is dikwels van vader na seun oorgedra.
