Ferrand van Portugal ook wel Ferrand van Vlaanderen (Portugal?, 24 maart 1188 – Noyon, 27 juli 1233), zoon van Sancho I van Portugal, huwde in januari 1212 met Johanna van Constantinopel, gravin van Vlaanderen.
Ferrand wilde Ariën en Sint-Omaars, dat hij pas aan de Franse koning had verloren (Verdrag van Pont-à-Vendin 25 februari 1212), terugwinnen. Hij brak daarom met zijn Franse leenheer en ging een coalitie aan met de Duitse keizer Otto IV. Hij verplichtte ook hertog Hendrik I van Brabant mee in de coalitie te stappen. Jan zonder Land, die zich eveneens aansloot, zou landen in het zuiden van Frankrijk in een poging om Aquitanië en Anjou te veroveren en dan naar Parijs op te marcheren. Otto zou vanuit het noorden oprukken. Filips II August versloeg de Engelsen echter op 2 juli 1214 bij La Roche-aux-Moines waardoor hij grotere bewegingsvrijheid kreeg.
Ferrand werd verslagen tijdens de Slag bij Bouvines op 27 juli 1214. Hij werd, volgens een oud Romeins gebruik, vastgeketend aan handen en voeten, in een open draagstoel door Parijs gevoerd. Het gepeupel van Parijs kon hem ongestoord bespuwen en weghonen. De Franse koning reed te paard voorop.

Ferrand bleef tot januari 1227, twaalf jaar later en zes jaar voor zijn dood, in Frankrijk opgesloten. Hij kwam vrij, als een gebroken man, door het sluiten van de Vrede van Melun. Een andere bron beweert dat hij in 1226 werd vrijgelaten door Blanche van Castilië, nadat Ferrand had beloofd haar zoon koning Lodewijk IX van Frankrijk te erkennen.
