Eduard V (Engels: Edward) (Westminster, 4 november 1470 – Tower of London?, 1483?) was koning van Engeland van 9 april tot 25 juni 1483. Hij was de zoon van Eduard IV uit het Huis York en Elizabeth Woodville.

Hij werd geboren op het moment dat Hendrik VI uit het Huis Lancaster voor korte tijd terug was op de troon. Zijn moeder hield zich in die periode schuil in Westminster Abbey. Toen zijn vader de macht weer in handen had, werd hij Prince of Wales (kroonprins).

Na de plotselinge dood van zijn vader in 1483 erfde Eduard op 12-jarige leeftijd de troon onder een regentschap. Zijn oom Richard, hertog van Gloucester (zijn vaders broer) nam de zorg voor de jonge koning en diens jongere broer Richard, hertog van York, op zich. Op de terugreis uit Wales onderschepte oom Richard het gezelschap en escorteerde de prinsen naar Londen.

Binnen drie maanden nam Richard het koningschap over. De prinsen werden opgesloten in de Tower of London. Hij liet het huwelijk van zijn voorganger ongeldig verklaren, met als gevolg dat zijn neefjes als bastaarden het recht op de troon verloren. Hij liet zich tot koning uitroepen als Richard III.

De prinsen werden nooit meer teruggezien. Zij zijn waarschijnlijk in de Tower vermoord, er is veel gespeculeerd over de dader(s) en over de omstandigheden waaronder de moorden plaatsvonden. Richard III wordt vaak verdacht als verantwoordelijk voor hun dood, maar het is ook mogelijk dat Hendrik VII die Richard van de troon stootte en huwde met Eduards oudere zuster de ware verantwoordelijke is.
