Notes about Filippa van Henegouwen

Filippa van Henegouwen, ook wel Filippina van Henegouwen genoemd (Valencijn, 24 juni 1314 - Windsor Castle, 14 augustus 1369) was een dochter van Willem III van Holland en Johanna van Valois. Op jeugdige leeftijd (in januari 1328) huwde zij met koning Eduard III van Engeland. Samen kregen ze 12 kinderen, waaronder Eduard de Zwarte Prins en Jan van Gent. Filippa overleed aan oedeem op Windsor Castle en werd begraven in de Westminster Abbey.
