Genoemd als schipper in een scheepsverklaring d.d. 1 december 1725 te Amsterdam. Het betrof een reis van Bordeaux naar Amsterdam, met o.a. pruimen en wijn aan boord.
Vermelding in het jaar 1746: Zijn vrouw Anna Jans wordt zijn weduwe genoemd.
Hij is overleden na 1724 in Den Hoorn, Gem. Texel.
