Notes about Christina van BEVEREN

Christina de Beveren maakt 30 juni 1727 een handgeschreven testament op, waarvan de akte van superscriptie diezelfde dag passeert voor notaris Sijmon van der Wall, residerend in ’s Gravendeel. Zij vernietigt in dit testament eerder gepasseerde akten van uiterste wil en benoemt tot haar erfgenamen, ieder voor de helft, haar zoon de heer Willem Reepmaecker en haar echtgenoot Michiel de Beveren en bij vooroverlijden van haar zoon, diens wettige erfgenaam.
Het is haar wens dat zij zal worden begraven in het graf van haar vader in de Grote Kerk.
"Nog is mijne expresse begeerte dat mijn lichaem sal werden gedraegen door veertien getrouwde mans van mijn naeste buren, in mijn landeke en in het schip geset van Arie Ariense Stoocker en aen ijder drager werde vereert een rijxdaelder. En alle getroude mans in mijn polderke te begraeffenis werden versogt ende voorts mijn lichaem werde gebragt tot Dordregt om aldaer s’morgens met den dach in stilte te werde begraven in de Grote Kerk. Door twaelff bidders in het graft van mijn vader. Begerende niet dat eenige rouwwapens sullen werden gehangen."
