Notes about Jacob HALLINCQ

Jacob Pauli, secretaris der statenvergadering, tekende als Pauli. Hij heette voluit Jacob Pauwelsz. Hallincq. Hij werd in 1532 te Dordrecht geboren en overleed aldaar op 25 oktober 1596. Hij trouwde in 1563 met Corenlia Hermansdr. van der Bies, uit welk huwelijk niet minder dan tien kinderen werden geboren. Sinds 1558 was hij secretaris der stad en tijdens de Opstand combineerde hij de ambt met dat van tweede pensionaris; in 1575 werd hij pensionaris van het Hof van Holland.

Wapen: een veld van goud, beladen met drie halve leeuwen van sabel, getongd en geklauwd van keel.
