Notes about Maria Teresia POISSON

Als Maria overlijdt in begin februari 1732 ontstaat er een geding om haar omvangrijke nalatenschap. Zo vinden we in de Rechterlijke Archieven van Loon op Zand een omschrijving over de erfenis gedateerd op 17 februari 1732: "Openbare verkoop van inboedel van wijlen Maria Poisson, wed.v. Mighiel Tijsmans". En op de 27e van dezelfde maand een openbare verkoop van bomen en percelen, nagelaten door wijlen Michiel Tijsmans en Maria Poisson [Bron: Parenteel van Micha‘l Tijsmans - Rian Derksen].

Op 3 mei blijkt dat de ruzie tussen de drie kinderen uit haar eerste huwelijk en dochter Christina uit het tweede huwelijk om de erfenis uit de hand gaat lopen. Het geschil wordt voorgelegd aan drossaard Ottho Juijn en Adriaan de Witt, advocaat te Waalwijk. Betrokken zijn:

"Philip Cocquel, adjudant van een regiment ruiterij, en Thomas van Vught, geh.m. Allegonda Cocquel, ook voor Ariaantje Cocquel, wed.v. Jan van Noort, allen kinderen van Martijn Cocquel en Maria Poisson, hebben een geschil met Cornelis Haansbergen, geh.m. Christina Tijsmans, Ariaantje van Vught [de 12 jaar jongere zus van Henricus Michael van Vugt], wed.v. Eugenius Tijsmans, ook voor haar kind, kinderen van genoemde Maria Poisson in haar tweede huwelijk met Michiel Tijsmans".

Op 28 juli speelt vervolgens de openbare verkoop van rogge en boekweit, staande op de goederen van wijlen Maria Poisson.

Christina Tijsmans kreeg uit de erfenis, de op 31 mei 1737 verbrande en daarna weer opgebouwde herberg "de Toerkar" in de Kerkstraat. Bij haar kinderloos overlijden op 4 juli 1777 wordt de volgende omschrijving van haar bezittingen gegeven. Dit op verzoek van Michiel Tijsmans, zoon van haar jongste broer Eugne en Adriaentje van Vught. Christina was wat je noemt een echte 'suikertante'.

ÇbÈHaar erfenis bestaat uit de volgende goederen:Ç/bÈ
een huis, hof en schuur, genaamd "de Toerkar", staande en gelegen aan de zuidzijde van de Straat, west de pastorale huizinge (850 gulden)
- een akker of hof, groot ca. 1,25 hont, gelegen als voor (50 gulden)
- een weide, groot ca. 3 hont, gelegen als voor (320 gulden)
- een weide, groot ca. 3 hont, gelegen als voor (120 gulden)
- een wei en bos, groot ca. 1,5 hont, gelegen als voor (60 gulden)
- de helft van een akker en bos, groot ca. 7 hont, gelegen als voor (70 gulden)
- de helft van een heibodem, groot 10 honten, gelegen in het Moer (10 gulden)
- een heibodem, gelegen aan de Plakken (2 gulden)
- een uitgestoken heiveld, groot 3 hont, gelegen als voor (nihil)
- een vervlogen heiveld, groot 0,5 hont, gelegen als voor (nihil)

Totale waarde: 1195 gulden, 16 stuivers en 9 penningen, hiervan wordt de belasting afgetrokken, te weten 86 gulden, 3 stuivers en 7 penningen.
