Maeyns [te Baccum / Bakkum], bijzonderheden over zijn beroep nog verder controleren (vermoedelijk werkzaam geweest in het duinmeiersbedrijf van zijn ouders in de duinen van Bakkum; mogelijk is hij dezelfde persoon als Meijns Pieterse, leverancier van tabak te Castricum vermoedelijk vermeld in archieven zoals van het Register van armvoogden te Castricum over de periode 1728–1736).
Hij kreeg drie kinderen; een daarvan is Jacob MEYNSE x Trijntje KNELIS: van dit echtpaar is een dochter bekend, Jannetje, gedoopt in 1744).
