Notes about Alida Emke

Alida Emke was 1 jaar oud toen, haar moeder overleed. Haar vader hertrouwde in 1884 met Johanna Admiraal. Toen zij 17 jaar was in 1891, overleed haar vader. In 1894 hertrouwde haar stiefmoeder, Johanna Admiraal, met Klaas Trompetter uit Sint Pancras en daar ging het gezin Emke (althans de minderjarigen) ook wonen. Alida was toen ruim 19 jaar oud, maar nog wel minderjarig. Toen zij op 23-jarige leeftijd (meerderjarig) trouwde met Petrus Nicolaas Blankendaal in 1897, woonde zij zonder beroep in Alkmaar (idem tijdens hun ondertrouw op 05-09-1897). Er is in Alkmaar van haar geen dienstboderegistratie gevonden. Zij woonde in bij haar grootouders, Willem Mooij en Alida Roosloot. Het is alleen niet bekend wanneer zij daar kwam wonen. Daar zal zij toen en later tot het overlijden van haar grootvader Willem Mooij in 1911, ook voor gezorgd hebben. Piet Blankendaal, minderjarig, woonde formeel in Oterleek, als tuinman, maar zat bij zijn huwelijk nog in militaire dienst op Fort Erfprins te Den Helder.
Haar halfzuster, Grietje, overleed in 1902 op 12-jarige leeftijd in Sint Pancras met als aangever haar stiefvader, Klaas Trompetter en Klaas Zuijdam, een aangetrouwde neef van Alida Emke.
