In 1721 kochten zowel Johanna Emerentia als haar zuster Jacoba ieder een eigen huis in Amsterdam (Kwijtscheldingen Amsterdam): zou er een erfenis geweest zijn? De vraag is van wie, want beide ouders zijn al vóór of in 1705 overleden.

Op 14 mei 1755 verkochten de erven van Johanna Emerentia, weduwe van Johannes Bullens, het huis De Hector aan Frans Weijbos. In 1799 werden nog 3 huizen verkocht door de erven.

Kwijtschelding: in Amsterdam werd vóór 1811 de akte die wordt opgemaakt voor Schepenen bij overdracht van onroerend goed de kwijtschelding genoemd. De koper ontving een exemplaar van de akte en de tekst van iedere akte werd ingeschreven in registers die in de archieven van de Schepenen bewaard zijn gebleven.
