spelling: Mengsje Willems van der Bron; ook Baron en van der Brom. NB. bij haar huwelijk met Jacob Swaan en bij de doop van hun eerste kind wordt zij Neeltje Willems van der Blom genoemd. Vanaf het tweede kind is de voornaam van de moeder Mengsje, Mencie of Mensje, en de achternaam is veranderd in "van der Bron". Zo wordt ze ook vermeld in het begraafregister. Er is geen apart huwelijk met "Mensje van der Bron" gevonden tussen 1692 en 1694, het is onwaarschijnlijk dat dit niet geregistreerd zou zijn. Neeltje Willems van der Blom moet dus dezelfde persoon zijn als Mensje Willems van der Bron.
