Notes about Alyda "Aly" Apon

Als kind ernstig ziek geweest. De dokter had haar al opgegeven. Buurman Tjeng You Lee wilde wel voor haar zorgen, maar als ze beter zou worden zou ze bij hem blijven. Ze werd beter. Omstreeks 1930/32 heeft Maurits nog met haar gespeeld. Daarna is de familie Tjeng met de noorderzon vertrokken. In de jaren 50 heeft Tante Emma nog met haar gecorrespondeerd, maar daarna is het contact geheel verloren gegaan.
Volgens oom Guus heeft een dochter van haar (werkzaam als verpleegster in een ziekenhuis in Den Haag) de jaren 70 kontakt met hem opgenomen om dit verhaal te verifieren. Alyda zou meerdere kinderen hebben. Helaas is er geen vervolgcontact geweest, noch zijn namen en telefoonnummeers opgenomen
Tante Emma van der Staay vertelde dat Tjeng You Lee 2 vrouwen heeft gehad.
In 2001, bij de ontruiming van het huis van tante Emma is een brief van 1-1-1971 aan tante Emma opgedoken waaruit blijkt dat Alyda getrouwd is en 7 kinderen heeft. Ze woonde toen in Pati. Haar (stief)broer Tjeng Kian Hien is in 1971 wel getrouwd, maar heeft geen kinderen.
