Bij doop Anna staat: "Teunis Teunissen op den Duijvendans"; bij zijn doop staat als naam: "Toinis"; bij doop Teunis en Engeltje staat geen achternaam. Er blijkt nabij Terwolde een erve "Duijvendans te zijn geweest; in 2001 bestaat er nog een huis met de naam: De Doevendans"[Bron: Het Kondschap, jg. 17. nr. 4)]
In het blad "Kondschap" van dec. 2001 (St.Oudheidkamer Brederwiede) staat een artikel over de familie Duijvendans. Hier blijkt uit, dat Teunis uit Nijbroek (nabij Terwolde) komt. Daar is hij getrouwd met Fenneken Jans. Waarschijnlijk dezelfde als dein Vollenhove vermelde Femmetje (Femmigje) Jans.
