Mary Vivian Butts, OKC, passed away Sept. 19, 1988.
She is survived by her husband, Jean Crawford Butts; 2 daughters, Lynn Elizabeth Preston of Boulder, CO, and Melissa Ann Miles of OKC; a sister, Betty Jane Buie of Greensboro, NC; a brother, Dickson Yeager Cannon of Irving, TX; 5 grandchildren, Ned, Amy, and Mary Emily Preston, Jonathan and Sarah Miles.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Jean Butts.
Born in Wilson, OK, March 15, 1921, graduated from Shawnee, OK High School, and attended Okla. Baptist University and the University of Okla.
Private family graveside services will be at Spring Creek Cemetery, at 9:30 am Sept. 22, 1988.
